Unfortunately, despite its heavy single-player focus, Gran Turismo 7 requires an always-online internet connection to play. With servers unavailable, players can’t access their personal storages and garages and can’t race, hot laps, participate in licensing events, or even customize cars their. There are only two modes available in GT7 when the game is offline: an arcade mode with some small cars, and an eccentric and very limited Music Rally mode.
This prolonged server outage comes after heavy player criticism of the latest update for a series of notable drops in the amount of credits awarded for specific races. . Shrinking payouts for some single-player events will make buying GT7’s most expensive cars even longer than it used to. GT7 Metacritic User Rating is currently in free fall.
These new reduced payouts also come after heavy criticism of the GT7’s surprisingly robust micro-reaction model, which was only activated after GT7 reviews were published. While the cars in the 2017 GT Sport are offered for sale individually (priced from US$1 to US$5), the GT7’s cash-in solution means players are tempted to speed up their vehicle collection. Their GT7 using real money is being asked to pay up to US$40 for a single vehicle. These cars We available in the game by crushing credits, but the latest update has ensured that it takes longer now.
IGN’s Review of Gran Turismo 7 notes that its stunning graphics, great ride, and lots of racing options make it the best movie since the PlayStation 2 era, but says its always-online single-player mode There seems to be no need for punishment.
