Grand Theft Auto V Mod for PC looks like Grand Theft Auto VI
We wrote about the mod NaturalVision for fivealmost as long as Grand Theft Auto DRAW launched on PC, and every time we revisit the project, it continues to amaze.
Originally a mod designed to tweak the game’s graphics a bit for more discerning PC users, NaturalVision was overhauled back in 2017 to be NaturalVision Remasteredand the development has continued — and made great progress — since then.
Back then I was impressed enough by the cars with more detail and some nicer lighting. Now…my socks are blown clean now. This trailer released earlier today is not only a great introduction to everything the mod has to offer, but helpfully stops at a few points and compares it directly with the vanilla game to shows you some of these modifications running.
The glitter image is of course the first and biggest thing on display here, from the lighting effects to the increased texture size, it’s all absolutely stunning. But I also love some things that may not be immediately noticeable when playing, but it’s still a really cool touch. Like parallax interiors for buildings, meaning when you pass by or fly over a building, if you can see inside its windows, the interiors will change their view to match suits you.
The fully animated cues also really bring the game to life, especially at night, while changes have also been made to the game’s weather, ambient color scheme, endings, and more. ground texture and vegetation “to blur the line between fantasy and reality.”
If you want to download the Early Access version of the mod as it is, you can get it at Razed’s Patreon page, who led the development of the mod. In addition, credit when credit is due Denis ‘IceVip’ Sitarskiwho put that very stylish trailer together.
