A cafe in Junagadh of Gujarat has come up with an innovative and unique idea to tackle plastic waste.
A cafe called Natural Plastic Cafe will accept plastic payments. So instead of paying the bill with money, customers will have to use plastic to pay if there is any food they want to buy at the cafe.

The cafe will be run and managed by a group of women from Sarvoday Sakhi Mandal although the authorities have provided the infrastructure, The Times Of India reported.
If you’re curious to know what the cafe has to offer, the menu will include a variety of dishes, including many traditional Gujarati dishes such as Sev Tameta, Baingan Bharta, Thepla and Bajra Rotla, the report added.
On the healthy side, there will be some dishes made from roses, fig leaves, bay leaves, and betel leaves. According to the report, all dishes will be served in clay utensils and ingredients will be locally sourced.
This comes a day before the world prepares to celebrate International Plastic-Free Day.
