Halo Infinite: A New Look at the Campaign and Side Quests | New game today
Spartans! Bite the fangs! Let’s burn your heart! Halo Infinite’s December 8 release is getting closer and closer with each passing day…but the fight isn’t over yet. It hasn’t been an easy wait, but hopefully what Game Informer has in store for you today will make it a little easier for you.
Today, Game Informer has three videos for you from the very first hours of Halo Infinite, and hosts Alex Stadnik and Wesley LeBlanc will be your guides, explaining what they think of each as they play it, how they handle each goal and more.
With three videos for you to watch today, there’s a lot to consider, so let’s get started right away. In the first video, we have 11 minutes of Halo Infinite campaign footage. That means if you want to be completely wild about what awaits you in the game, you should avoid this. However, it doesn’t reveal too much about the bigger story. That’s because it takes place during Halo Infinite’s opening time slot. You’ll hear Alex and Wesley discuss different ways to infiltrate a structure known as The Tower. They discuss different ways to approach the quest, what awaits you in The Tower, and more. Be sure to stick around if you’re excited to see what the bosses in Halo Infinite look like.
In the second video, Alex and Wesley walk through the FOBs, or Forward Operating Bases, scattered around Zeta Halo. Before reclaiming one from Banished for the UNSC, of course, you’ll need to defeat the Banished that currently call it their own. In doing so, you’ll gain access to the FOB, which means it’s not just a new Quick Travel spot on the map, but it’s also a place for you to stock up on ammo, grenades, weapons, and even weapons. vehicle.
The final video in Game Informer Halo Infinite’s coverage today is all about HVT, or High Value Goals. Scattered around Zeta Halo, these targets are essentially boss forms of various enemy types such as Elites. During our HVT fight, we encounter a special Elite HVT who uses a sword and stealth to try to defeat us (spoilers: he doesn’t). We also discuss how HVTs carry unique modified versions of weapons present elsewhere in the game.
And if that’s still not enough, be sure to check it out Game Informer’s Halo Infinite Center, where you’ll find 4K viewing of campaign footage, new weapon trailers, multiplayer info, etc. Halo Infinite is also this month’s cover story for Game Informer magazine, so be sure to follow along. keep an eye on your inbox for it, and if you’re a digital subscriber, all that awaits you inside can be read right now.
