Hamilton Tiger-Cats stumble in second half again, lose big to Argos – Hamilton
Jamal Peters made three interceptions, returning one for a 67-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, as Toronto Argonauts Routing Hamilton Tiger-Cats 37-20 at BMO Field on Friday night.
Peters also recorded picks in the first and third quarter as Toronto (5-5) scored 20 points from six Hamilton (3-8) outings, three of which came in the second half.
Ticats QB Dane Evans got his first game since suffering a shoulder injury against Argos on August 6 and completed just 19 of 30 244-yard pass attempts and three interceptions.
Hamilton took a 19-13 lead midway through the third half thanks to the dynamic play of reserve defender Matthew Shiltz.
Shiltz was 13 to 15 for 144 yards and one touchdown before he suffered an apparent right hand injury while being sacked by Toronto midfielder Shane Ray.
For Toronto, McLeod quarterback Bethel Thompson threw 258 yards on 19/32 passes while former Ticats recipient Brandon Banks made three catches for the 67-foot team.

Hamilton receiver Papi White returned from the injury list and made seven passes in the 81 meters while teammate Tim White scored eight 105 meters tall reception games.
The Tiger-Cats will host the Argonauts for the fourth and final time in this regular season during the annual Classic Labor Day at Tim Hortons Field on September 5.
