HBO pulls in Larry David’s show at the last minute
Larry David found himself in the middle of another dilemma.
Just a few hours ago The Larry David Show was set to premiere on HBO Max, the network abruptly pulled it from their schedule.
In one tweet posted on Monday night, HBO explained: ” #LarryDavidStory on @HBOMax is being postponed. Instead, Larry decided he wanted to do it in front of an audience. Stay tuned for more.”
The archive consists of two parts, documenting the life of 74-year-old comedy legendis scheduled to premiere March 1 at 10 p.m. ET.
According to the network, the series is set to give viewers “a look behind the proverbial veil, as David candidly shares his personal and professional highs and lows, from the very beginning. humble as a hyperactive Brooklyn kid until he became America’s most beloved deviant.”
In addition, the program promises that the popular manga reclusive will unfold like never before.
“Amid contemplating his bumpy road to success… David shares his thoughts on everything from metaphysics to parenthood,” the show’s description reads. “Authentic, fun and eye-opening, The Story of Larry David Shines a new light on the notorious mocker, who remains a unique vocalist in comedy today. “
