Headline undefeated on flight 205 Breeder’s Cup Inputs
With a feeling of invincibility Flight route (Tapit) took the lead, 205 horses, including 45 from overseas, and seven former Breeders ‘Cup and previous champions, qualified for the 2022 Breeders’ Cup World Championship in Keeneland.
Nine horses were pre-entered for the GI Breeders’ Cup Classic. In addition to Flightline, the $6 million hub also attracted last semester’s GI Breeders’ Cup Dirt hero Life is good (Into Mischief) as well as the outstanding sophomores Epicenter (Not this time), GI Kentucky Derby upside down Rich Strike (Keen Ice) and Taiba (Gunman). 3 year old baby Cyberknife (Gunman) has first priority in the Dirt Mile.
Drawing on eight previous entries, GI Breeders’ Cup Distaff will feature Todd Pletcher-trained heavyweight champion Malathaat (Curlin) and a chubby 3-year-old lead Nest (Curlin).
Champion sprinter Jackie’s Warrior (Music by Maclean) will be the main attraction in GI Breeders ‘Cup Sprint while Golden Pal (Uncle Mo) would score for the Breeders ‘Cup’s third consecutive win in the GI Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint. Defending GI Breeders Heroine ‘Cup Filly & Mare Sprint Ce Ce (Elusive quality) will also return to defend his title.
