Hogwarts Legacy: “Cache in the Castle” Side Quest Guide
While walking around the Planetarium in Hogwarts legacyyou can meet Arthur Plummly, who gives you the quest”Castle cache.” Arthur has two treasure maps, one for him and one for you. Your map has three landmarks that will point you in the direction of the treasure, but these can be difficult to find. Read on for the locations of landmarks and where to find hidden treasures.
First Hogwarts Heritage ‘Cache in Castle’ landmark — Rhinoceros Skeleton
- Accept the quest from Arthur Plummly across from the Charms class entrance.
- Go down three floors by taking the stairs behind you.
- Go ahead and go down the stairs on the left. The first landmark, Rhinoceros Skeleton, will be visible from here.
- Find your way to the skeleton to get waypoints for the next landmark
The Second Hogwarts Heritage ‘Cache in the Castle’ Milestone — Dragon Fountain
If you have floo flames for the Transfiguration Ground, teleport there to easily find the Dragon Fountain. For those who don’t have a floo flame reference point, follow the steps below.
- Go down two stairs to reach a large double door.
- Go through the doors to find the Transformation Ground with the Dragon Fountain to your left.
The third Hogwarts Heritage ‘Cache in the Castle’ landmark – Painting
- Go through the Dragon Fountain into the double doors behind it.
- Take the first right and go up a pair of stairs to find the painting on the wall.
- Cast Accio on the handle at the top of the picture to reveal the treasure.
- Collect your rewards for completing quests”Castle cache.”
Many side quests in Hogwarts legacy will take you around the castle in the hope of finding treasure. Since you have completed “Cache in the Castle”, test your map reading skills with “The ghost of our love.”
