How does the market work in Manor Lords?

Market IN Lord of the manor is where all the things your village needs to survive—things like firewood, food, and clothing—are distributed. They are Are not However, a way to make money. How the market works in Manor Lords

To upgrade your Burgage plot IN Lord of the manorthose lands need access to a market supplied with fuel, food and clothing. Building a marketplace is freeand any family that wants can set up a stall in that market for free.

Market stalls will sell a mixture of goods belonging to one of those three commodity categories. fuel, food and clothing. It's unclear what prompted a family to set up a market stall, but in general, it only happens when you accumulate a surplus of a certain type of goods.

Markets are based on priority, not proximity

Supply markets Burgage plot around whatever is sold inside. But the mere presence of a market and stalls is not enough. As with everything in Lord of the manor, making sure everyone is fed involves a lot of moving parts. Just growing or processing food doesn't always mean it will make it to the market and subsequently into your Burgage Plots (and subsequently your family's bellies).

First, let's check warehouse And storehouse. People will automatically put their goods in there – different types of food are stored in each – but that doesn't mean it will make it to the market stall. You may have to entrust a family (or more, as your town grows) to the granary and warehouse. Those families went to take things to the warehouse and set up stalls to sell those things.

Also, check it out trading station (if you have). When you establish a trade route, you establish a desired surplus. This is one way to ensure you're not exporting goods you want to keep. This desired surplus applies to granaries and warehouses, so if you set your surplus target too high at the trading post, you will unintentionally prevent those goods from reaching the market.

Hovering over the market will show you how many unclaimed stall positions are inside. If you're running low – or even if your town is spread out too far – you can always add another market. Lord of the manor consider all markets in an area as one unit, but stalls are built wherever people have goods to sell and others need said goods. Expanding your market makes it easier for families to get what they need.
