How to Access Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta on Xbox and PC
Xbox surprise announcement today that the multiplayer part of Halo Infinite, which we already know is play for free, is currently live. They revealed this exciting news today Xbox 20th Anniversary Streaming, where they also reveal more details about the first season in the multiplayer part of Halo Infinite called Heroes of Reach.
If you’re excited to join and battle some of your Sparta teammates, now’s your chance, but first, you’ve got to actually get into the beta. Here, we’ll break down exactly how to get in:
How to download Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta on Xbox
If you’re looking to play Halo Infinite’s multiplayer on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One X, or Xbox One, you’ll need to head over to the Xbox Store (or Microsoft Store), search for Halo Infinite, and download the title. When you launch the game, it will look like a complete package. However, if you click on the campaign, you will be presented with a nice screen that basically says “ahhh not yet, but sooooooon.”
You maybe play multiplayer, though. Just select the Multiplayer option on the screen and you will be taken right away. Here you can participate in the Arena, Big Team Battle, Spartan Academy and more. You can even customize your Spartan, their weapons, vehicles, and more. More, you can also buy Season 1: Heroes of Reach Battle Pass for $9.99. You can upgrade through the free version of the card, but don’t expect nearly as many rewards out of it, and you shouldn’t expect them to be as big either.

How to download Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta on PC
If you’re looking to play Halo Infinite multiplayer on PC, you can do so through Steam or the Xbox PC App. To access the multiplayer beta on Steam, just head over to Steam and search for Halo Infinite. Download and you’ll get what seems to be all of Halo Infinite. However, you will find that the campaign is not accessible until December 8. Multiplayer isn’t, though, so get in, customize your Spartan and their weapons, explore your favorite modes, and have a great time.
For non-Steam stuff, you can search and download Halo Infinite from the Xbox PC App. From the Xbox PC App, launch Halo Infinite and have fun. If you especially like your time, consider buying Part 1: The Hero Reaches Out Battle Pass for $9.99 to earn better rewards while playing.
