How to make Japanese style chicken curry in just 30 minutes

Japanese Chicken Curry Recipe: How to Make Japanese Chicken Curry
- To start with the recipe, season the chicken pieces with a little salt. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add all the pieces, season with a little salt, cook until 70% cooked. Once done, remove them to a plate.
- In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons butter, add all-purpose flour and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Now, add any curry powder. If you have Japanese curry powder it’s great.
- Turn off the heat, add water and make sure the curry doesn’t curdle.
- Reduce heat to low, add 1/4 cup apple juice, 2 tablespoons ketchup, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 cinnamon stick and star anise. Ps: The tomato sauce and apple juice give this recipe a much-needed tangy flavor. Cover and simmer for 4-5 minutes.
- Add the chicken pieces along with some vegetables. Mix well and apply for about 10 minutes.
