Human remains found in field identified as Ebb and Flow First Nation woman, 53 – Winnipeg
Manitoba RCMP announced the discovery human remainswas found in a field in the West St. Paul, just north of Winnipeg on the afternoon of June 6.
Police said they were called to the site, east of Highway 8, near Grassmere Road, where they found the remains of a woman between 40 and 50 years old.
Further investigation identified the woman as Lori Ann Mancheese, 53, of Ebb and Flow First Nation.
The RCMP continues to investigate pending the results of an autopsy, but does not currently consider Mancheese’s death to be of a criminal nature.
