SEOUL, March 26, 2023 – Hyundai Motor Company today unveiled the design of the new SONATA, with a new badge for the eighth-generation midsize sedan heralding its sportiest design ever.
More than a simple upgrade, the new SONATA has revolutionized the image of the old SONATA, launched in 2019, and reborn as a dynamic, progressive new model with an elegant, low chassis ratio. , stronger styling and future-oriented technology.
The new SONATA presents a new look of a four-door coupe that captures the essence of Hyundai Motor’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design philosophy.

SONATA accentuates its distinctive image with an exterior design based on the N Line sports coupe style with a long hood, low front end and fastback roofline.
SONATA’s low-rise exterior is testament to progressive automotive design and embodies ‘Sportsiness’ with its horizontal front fascia layout incorporating Hyundai’s signature Seamless Horizontal Lights, hidden headlights, and grille. wide heat and air intakes for a more dynamic and aggressive look. Seamless skyline lights and wide, hidden headlights create dramatic lighting effects that emphasize the vehicle’s spacious appearance while adding a futuristic touch.
