Hello everyone, hope you are having a great day and are ready for the upcoming weekend. I know I am. I’m here to keep you updated on our current initiatives, community updates, new features and more that are happening or coming soon in the near future.
Right now, I’m working on more ways for you, the community, to suggest topics for me to tackle in the future and potentially make recommendations for content you’d like to see more of on IGN. That said, here are some updates on what’s happening right now or very soon at IGN.
Fan Festival 2023!!!
Fan Festival 2023 It’s almost here and we have a great weekend full of previews, interviews, etc. It’s going to be a great opportunity to get an advanced look at what’s going on. Street Fighter 6, Diablo IV, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and more. We also have a lot of interviews answering questions sent in by fans HBO The Last of Us, cocaine bearAnd failure, so if you’ve sent a question to our prompt on Twitter or the IGN Board, be sure to follow along to see if your question has been answered. It all started on Friday, February 17, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Check schedule and our convenience how to watch article for details on the full lineup.
As the first Fan Fest, I worked with the production team and our partners to give away various game codes throughout the IGN Fan Fest. Be sure to check the IGN Rewards page and Rule during the event as we will also have a lot of new services there. As for the event itself, make sure to tune in and watch the IGN Fan Fest on Youtube, Twitch or IGN.com and you’ll stand a chance to win one of 400 game codes just by watching. I did the math and we’ll average out one code per minute during the show on Friday and Saturday. Viewers will have a chance to get codes for games like Street Fighter V, Valheim, Resident Evil Village, etc! Codes will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis, so stay tuned for a chance to score in a free game and again, be sure to watch them all. Rule for the IGN Fan Festival.
Update Rules
I have one last update. It’s been a while since IGN updated its Community Guidelines and we thought it was a good time to update them. Updates focus on clarifying some guidelines to help clarify certain parts that may have been unclear in the past, as well as updating categories and languages that are more commonly used today . Be sure to check out the updated instructions today and feel free to ask any questions you have about the updates here.
With that said at the beginning, I’d love to hear your suggestions for future updates you’d like to see at IGN, so post them in the comments below and I’ll do my best to work it out. them in future updates.
