Imran Khan admits not bringing change in Pak, citing “System”: Report

According to Dawn newspaper, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has admitted that he is unable to bring about “change” in the country that he promised at the time of coming to power, due to “errors” in the system.
“Initially we wanted to bring about immediate change through revolutionary steps, but then realized that our system was incapable of absorbing the shock,” the Prime Minister said on Thursday. .
During a ceremony held to award certificates to the 10 best performing ministries and departments, Imran Khan said the government and ministries had not delivered the desired results.
“The biggest problem is that there is no connection between the government and the interests of the country,” he added, according to Dawn.
“How are our ministries doing to stabilize the country through increasing exports and how to improve the conditions of the people, how to eliminate poverty?” he asks.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has decided to bring a motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Imran Khan in Parliament.
PDM director Fazlur Rehman briefed reporters after the group’s key meeting in Lahore and said that the coalition had unanimously decided to carry out a motion of no confidence against the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek. -e-Insaf (PTI) led by Khan, Geo News reported. .
Speaking at a press conference after holding a meeting of the PDM, Fazl said the coalition would approach allied parties of the government to put them on the board in order to achieve a majority vote in Parliament in order to introduced a motion of no confidence to overthrow Imran Khan.
“The PDM has announced a motion of no confidence at this stage because we firmly intend to do so,” added the PDM director.
However, he also said, “We’ll do our homework first, so we can’t talk about a definite timeframe for the move.”
Meanwhile, the Pak opposition is erasing their mutual hatred to overthrow Khan. They are planning a no-confidence movement or street protests or even combining the two in a joint fight against Khan’s misconduct.
Before that, opposition parties such as the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), the Pakistan-Nawaz Muslim League (PML-N) and Imran Khan Movement allies – Muttahida Qaumi (MQM) and the Pakistan Muslim League ( PML-Q) are putting aside their differences to ouster ‘Kaptaan’ (Imran Khan), Dawn reported.
