A Muslim cleric has been arrested by the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Team from Delhi in connection with the recent murder of a man in the Gujarat town of Dhandhuka over an alleged protest Facebook post the defendant alleged. hurt their religious feelings, an official said.

Police chief ATS Imtiaz Shaikh told reporters Shabbir Chopda, who shot Boliya, was in contact with Usmani through the social networking platform Instagram, adding that the cleric was arrested running a social organization and inciting youth in the community to take action against those who insulted the Prophet Mohammad.
Chopda (25) and Imtiaz Pathan (27) were detained on Friday along with Javrawala, the man who instigated both of them and who arranged the murder weapons.
Usmani directed Chopda to contact Javrawala to take action against Boliya, ATS SP said, adding that the two clerics were in contact.
Gujarat ATS began probing the case on Saturday.
