In Telangana, JP Nadda accuses KCR of corruption, copying central schemes
Hyderabad:
If Telangana Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao came to Delhi to brag about his plans and talk about the incompetence of the BJP government in Delhi, then BJP chief JP Nadda hit back during his visit to the state, saying telling everyone that they need to vote Mr Rao and his Telangana Rashtra Samithi and put the BJP in.
Targeting the TRS government in Telangana, Mr. Nadda alleges that all of their so-called flagship schemes are fraught with corruption and that only a dual-engine government benefits the state. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his good handling of the Covid pandemic while he said advanced countries have struggled. “Prime Minister Modi has given 130 people suraksha kavach in the form of vaccines and boosters,” he said.
Mr. Nadda said, India has turned from an importer to a major exporter. During the pandemic, Prime Minister Modi donated 5 kg of rice to the poor.
He said, accusing the state government of failing to implement some of the central plans, “The Prime Minister gave Ayushman Bharat and 3.11 crore people benefits, but 360,000 Telangana people did not receive the money. 50,000 for KCR”, he said.
The BJP President reminded everyone that Mr. Rao mocked the Covid protocol and has not made arrests for protocol violations.
“KCR government is one of the most corrupt government. Kaleshwaram has become a dairy cow for KCR… From 20,000 crore, costs increase by 28,000 rupees… But there is no water for irrigation. Rajoli Banda, the Other irrigation projects have failed,” he said.
Naming all the projects that the Minister and his party refer to with great pride, Mr. Nadda accuses them of being riddled with corruption. “Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagirath, Haritha haram are all corrupt. It’s not Telangana Rashtra Samiti but Telangana Razakar Samiti,” he said, adding that TRS follows a divide-and-rule policy.
In recent months, Mr. Rao, his son KT Rama Rao and other leaders have alleged that state schemes have inspired grand Central plans. Mr. Nadda announced today that all major state plans are copied from the Center.
“Prime Minister Awaas Yojana has become 2BHK. Mathru Vandana becomes KCR Kit, etc. In the coming days, Telangana people will fight and make BJP rule,” Mr. Nadda said.
Mr. Bandi Sanjay, head of state of BJP will deliver the message to those who want change.
