India High Fashion Week 2022: Amit Aggarwal’s collection is a blend of synthesis and diversity
The FDIC is coming to an end India’s haute couture week 2022, the fashion bar has been raised. Following the introductions of Varun Bahl, Anju Modi and Tarun Tahiliani, designer duo Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, and Falguni Shane Peacock, Amit Aggarwal made a statement with his silhouette.

He created miracles with his haute couture collection Pedesis, as he introduces “a fresh start to our somewhat magical, half-fantasy journey of a decade.” From armor-like structures to pleated liquid forms, the designer’s collection is an eerie blend of old and new.
The collection is a “praise to the fact that we’re at an interesting twist in the time where digital space contains those strange aspects that we can’t reach in the physical world,” the collection notes read.
Representing a glitch in time, the designer introduced two ends of the spectrum – “the first human echoes and the beginning of the future – overlaying the detailed realities of the present.”
He celebrates diversity and inclusivity by capturing changing forms and fluidity between past, present and future, as the brand completes its decades-long journey.
Amit Aggarwal took to Instagram to share it for him, Pedesis Couture 2022 is a celebration of the creation of different forms – “incidents you don’t see, endless repetitions before a single form takes shape, exhausting debates. make it all worth it in the end.”
Among the popular names, Sushant Divgikr and Sakshi Sindwani walked the designer ramp. Sakshi wears a beautiful sleeveless top black coat, adorned with a silver and black threaded shield at the front with a bronze metal ring. The look was combined with white eyebrows, glittery eyeshadow, perfectly contoured face and lip gloss.

Sushant Divgikr, a famous person drag queen, wearing a long white suit with wide leg pants. The intricate gray folds throughout the sleeves of the outfit are symbolic of the passage of time. A slicked back hairstyle with thick black eyebrows combined with glossy makeup completed the outfit.

Talking about her inspiration, the designer said on Instagram“The inspiration I will seek throughout my life comes from the tiniest smile or soulful expression of someone sitting right next to me. “
He also said brands are measured in numbers love and cherish they receive from the people, and with the amount of “blood, sweat, tears, patience, creativity and integrity” produced.
The designer previously gave a glimpse of the extensive process involved in building a haute couture collection. “The brand is ten years old but the adrenaline rush before launching a collection is still real. A lot of variables have to align to get even a single piece of clothing,” he said in the caption.
