1. Pav Bhaji
The thought of Mumbai street food reminds us of pav bhaji. Spicy bhaji paired with avocado toasted pav, this dish defines infatuation. Besides, it also makes a nutritious meal at any time of the day. For the pav bhaji, all you need to do is mix the mixed vegetables with the special pav bhaji masala, then combine with the pav, onion, green pepper, and some avocado on the side.
2. Chana Chaat
This next dish strikes a balance between health and taste. It’s chana chaat made with boiled black chana, then tossed in masala and mixed with lemon, minced onion, tomato, green pepper, and coriander leaves. In addition to being delicious, this dish also provides you with protein, fiber and a number of other nutrients.

Another popular Mumbai street food, Frankie rolls are the city’s own version of rolls made with chicken or vegetables. Here vegetable or chicken fillings are added to the tenderest rotis, with some delicious chutney on top. We feel, the Mumbai-style Frankie roll delivers a punch like no other!
6. Dabeli
Dabeli is probably the second most popular pav based dish in Mumbai (the first is vada pav). Also popular in Gujarat, dabeli is desi-sandwich where aloo masala, spicy garlic chutney and several other ingredients are pressed between two slices of pav and enjoyed. It is usually served with tamarind chatpata, roasted peanuts and pomegranate seeds.
