Influence Media, in partnership with Warner Chappell Music, acquires publishing catalog of songwriter Jesse Frasure

Influence Media Partners and Warner Chappell Music Nashville (WCM Nashville) have announced a partnership with Grammy-nominated songwriter, producer, and DJ Jesse Frasure.

According to a press release, as part of the deal, the companies are investing in Frasure’s full publishing catalog, encompassing more than 160 songs.

The deal spans hits like Dirt on My Boots by Jon Pardi, One Mississippi by Kane Brown, and What’s Your Country Song by Thomas Rhett, along with future tracks written by Frasure.

Influence Media Partners is a US-based music and rights company founded in 2019 and led by Lylette Pizarro, Lynn Hazan, Rene McLean, and Jon Jashni.

In early 2022 it announced a $750 million fund to invest in what it calls “high-value compositions from diverse artists” with backing from BlackRock Alternative Investors and Warner Music Group.

The partnership was led by Frasure’s longtime collaborator Ben Vaughn, President & CEO, WCM Nashville, alongside Lylette Pizarro, Founder & Co-Managing Partner at Influence Media.

Frasure is described as “one of country music’s most prolific songwriters”, having written for the likes of Kacey Musgraves, Faith Hill, Tim Mcgraw, Kelsea Ballerini, and more.

Along with writing for Jay-Z’s entertainment company Roc Nation, Frasure has co-written 22 No. 1 songs and produced an additional eight No. 1 songs for artists across genres including Meghan Trainor, Steve Aoki, and Miranda Lambert, among others.

In addition to the deal with Frasure, Influence Media notes that it has invested in successful country artists, including Platinum-certified superstar Blake Shelton, Academy of Country Music Award winner and singer-songwriter Nicolle Galyon, Grammy-winning songwriter Chris Thompkins and more.

The company adds that “with access to Frasure’s hit publishing catalog, along with future tracks written by Frasure, Influence Media will continue to build his artistic influence throughout pop culture.

Elsewhere, in June, Logic sold his catalog to Influence Media Partners in an eight-figure deal.
