This is the opening night scene Live RomaDrama! in West Palm Beach, Fla., a three-day convention dedicated to romantic comedies produced on cable television takes place from June 24 to 26. While talent from the Lifetime and GAC Network projects were in attendance, the biggest draw were the stars from the Hallmark Channel, including famous actors like Andrew Walker and Tyler Hynes. Comic-Con is for people who attend midnight screenings of every MCU installment, RomaDrama is for people whose TVs stay on Hallmark all year long, whether watching “Countdown to Christmas” or translations their other seasonal crops. (Autumn Harvest and Spring Fling are just a few.)
Although said to not be as loud or have a voice like Lord of the Rings stans, the loyal following for Hallmark’s heartwarming show is just as passionate—and for RomaDrama Live! Co-Founder Gabrielle Graf Palmerwho first came up with the idea of a convention for romance lovers when she met the cast of foreigner at Wizard World Comic-Con in 2018, they were an underrated community.
