“This loan gives the club more options to continue to manage our squad. We are working tirelessly to acquire the right players who will help us achieve our goals. We are delighted to have found the opportunity for Rodolfo to continue his development in Mexico and wish him well during his loan spell,” said Inter Miami CF football director and sporting director Chris Henderson said.
Pizarro appeared in 47 games, scoring seven goals and providing 12 assists during his time in Miami, playing under coaches Diego Alonso and Phil Neville. He played 64 games with nine goals in his first stint for Monterrey.
Tampico-born Tamaulipas has won the Liga MX title each time with Pachuca, Chivas and Monterrey, and won the CONCACAF Champions League with the two teams behind.
With the defending team winning the CONCACAF Champions League for the second time, Pizarro will join Monterrey at the Club World Cup in February.
