iQoo Neo 5S Design, Specifications Introduced in Trailer ahead of December 20th launch
iQoo Neo 5S has officially been confirmed to launch in China on December 20. With the launch event almost imminent, sub-brand Vivo has finally revealed the first image of the handset. , as well as a few specifications. The image was shared via iQoo’s official Weibo account. It depicts the back of the iQoo Neo 5S in matte black. The phone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup and an LED flash. Along with the image, iQoo also confirmed that the iQoo Neo 5S will come with an improved cooling system.

iQoo Yes disclosure that the rear camera setup of the upcoming iQoo Neo 5S will feature mechanical optical image stabilization (OIS). In one next post shared on Weibo, the company has further confirmed the specifications and features of this upcoming handset. iQoo Neo 5S will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It will also be equipped with a sub-chipset called ‘Display Chip Pro’ which is designed to reduce the display burden on the GPU when gaming. This is expected to increase the frame rate without increasing power consumption. iQoo Neo 5S will also come with an improved heat dissipation system that will cover almost 90% of the phone body.

The phone is said to run on the newly announced OriginOS Ocean UI based on Android 12. Its alleged 4,500mAh battery is said to support 66W fast charging. iQoo Neo 5S may have an OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of optics, this smartphone is rumored to sport a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 primary sensor at the rear and a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the front.
