Irish farms prepare to participate in ITM Irish Stallion Trail

More than 30 stallions in Ireland will be welcoming the public during Irish Thoroughbred Marketing’s Irish Stunt Trail (ITM) program, which will be held on Friday and Saturday, 13 and 14 January. 2023. The trail is limited to the breeding industry in 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but will give breeders, racing professionals and racing fans a chance to see some stallions the world’s leading Flat and National Hunt breeds in Ireland’s excellent purebred breeding facilities without any restrictions.
“We are delighted that the ITM Irish Stallion Trail will once again be able to operate without any restrictions in 2023,” said ITM’s Charles O’Neill. “From Cheltenham to the Royal Ascot to the Breeders’ Cup, Irish ponies are once again raising the bar for our world-class industry in 2022.
“Much of this success is due to Ireland’s excellent stallions and the farms that handle them professionally. We encourage breeders and other interested parties to date the Trail in the log and support our extremely valuable purebred breeding industry.”
Free to the public, visitors are required to register the studs they intend to access through the ITM website. Due to demand, it is mandatory to sign up for a specific time frame if accessing Coolmore.
