Is Karisma Kapoor craving this delicious Maharashtrian snack, can you guess?
Karisma Kapoor may be strict about her exercise regimen and also conscious about her diet, but she’s honestly an avid foodie. The actress loves to try a variety of dishes from different cuisines. Recently, Karisma treated us to her Maharashtrian food diary and we were delighted to see what she liked. On her Instagram Stories, she shared a photo of Sabudana Vada accompanied by some green chili sauce. The deep fried snack is made with Sabudana, also known as sago or tapioca pearls, potatoes, mild spices and roasted peanuts and is popularly eaten in Maharashtra. The vada on Karisma’s plate looks crispy and delicious. Karisma wrote, “Sabudana vada,” and added a slurp emoji. She also uses a sticker that says “So good.” Watch:
If the infatuation of Karisma Kapoor makes you crave sabudana vada, we have a solution. Here’s a recipe that will help you make some delicious and drooling vada sabudana at home. You can enjoy and impress your family with your cooking skills. Usually, people have it while fasting, but that’s not a mission, of course.
The best part about sabudana is that it can be prepared in many different ways. If you want to avoid deep fried foods like sabudana vada, you can go ahead and make sabudana khichdi which is a healthier option. Don’t forget to combine it with some creamy curd.
