Daguzan became the brands first external CEO having joined from Paco Rabanne in May 2022, after 13 years of designer and founder Simon Porte Jacquemus overseeing the company.
This month (December) he became president, but it has since been reported that he will be leaving with immediate effect.
In a statement, reported by Business of Fashion, a spokesperson for the brand confirmed he would take on a new role elsewhere: “Bastien has been a driving force behind the business and its leadership. We wish him well in his new endeavour.”
Meanwhile, Daguzan said: “I would like to thank Simon [Jacquemus, the brand’s creative director] for his trust and the incredible journey we have been on together with the team. He has always been an immense source of inspiration; I am so proud to have been a part of this adventure.”
