Jay Leno reveals he has a ‘completely new set of ears’ after a car fire
It’s not the easiest time for Jay Leno.
The comedian recently reflected on two accidents he had over the course of two months.
“This [is] a whole new face,” he said Dana Carvey And David spade on March 29 in their podcast Flying over the wall. “I did it for eight days. I missed two shows.”
The most recent accident was in January when Leno was knocking my motorbike. “I broke my collarbone, I broke two ribs, and I cracked two kneecaps,” he recalls, “because I had a clothesline on my motorcycle.”
The Tonight’s program alum then detailed what happened.
“You are a 72-year-old man and an 83-year-old motorbike. What could happen?” he joked. “I said, ‘Uh oh. The gas is dripping. I don’t want to catch fire. Let me turn around.’ I turned around in a parking lot and that guy had a rope across the parking lot but no flags. And the sun was right here. And boom, it just hit me.”
