Jharkhand man, paralyzed, claims he can move after vaccination
Bokaro (Jharkhand):
A 55-year-old man, paralyzed and lost his voice 4 years ago in an accident, said he was able to move and speak after receiving the Covishield vaccine on January 4.
Dr. Jitendra Kumar, Bokaro Civil Surgeon, said he was surprised and asked to form a medical team to analyze the medical history of this case.
Dularchand Munda from the village of Salgadih in Bokaro said on Friday, “So glad I got this vaccine. I can move my legs after taking the vaccine on January 4th.”
According to Dularchand Munda’s family, after an accident four years ago, he lost his voice and became paralyzed.
But Dularchand Munda insists that a miracle happened to him after taking the COVID-19 vaccine. “My voice is back and my legs are moving,” he said. It was he who stood on his own two feet and walked.
The health officials were surprised.
Dr. Jitendra Kumar said, “It was surprising to see this. But it needs to be determined by scientists. After taking the vaccine it is unbelievable”, said.
Health officials said it was a research subject.
Albel Kerketta, Head of Petarwar Medical Center, said: “Exact information and answers will be available in the coming days as the medical community conducts research into Dularchand Munda’s condition and his recovery. it”.
According to Dularchand Munda’s family, he underwent treatment after the accident, but his body parts stopped working. With this, his voice also began to falter.
Dr Albel Kerketta said that the vaccine was given to Dularchand Munda and his family on January 4 by Anganwadi center staff. From January 5, Mr. Munda’s lifeless body began to move.
Village teacher Raju Munda said the incident was nothing short of miraculous. According to him, Dularchand was treated at a cost of Rs 4 lakh with no results.
“So how can a COVID-19 vaccine work wonders?” he asks.
