Josh Duggar’s cousin encouraged his wife Anna to “stand up” and divorce him
Josh Duggarmy cousin has a message for his wife, Annabefore his judge in his testing child pornography.
On May 17, five months after Josh convicted of receiving and handling child pornography, Amy King write a open letter Anna tells her she’s “being surrounded by the wrong kind of support.” Sharing a snap of herself hugging the mother-of-seven, Amy wrote on Instagram, “Anna, I feel for you. No woman wants to be in your position.”
Anna has been married to Josh since 2008 and shares children—Mackynzietwelfth; Michaelten; Marcus8; Meredith6; Mason, 4; and Maryella2 and Madysonsix months — with 19 Children and Numbers alum.
Amy wrote to Anna: “You’ve been taught since you were a child that marriage is forever and you’ve been praying for God to give you a life partner.” “You built a life and a family with him. You didn’t choose any of these, and neither did your kids.”
Amy went on to clarify that she’s not “pursuing” Anna but rather that she’s expressing what’s on her mind as a “fierce defender”.
“If no one else in your life has said that, I need you to understand that there’s no shame in divorcing Josh,” she shared. “One day, your kids will be old enough to understand who their dad really is. You can’t protect them from the truth forever!”
