Julia Betley joins Warner Records as SVP of Creative Sync Licensing
Julia Betley participated Warner Records as SVP of Creative Synchronization Licensing.
Betley goes to Warner after a decade at Sony Music EntertainmentRCA’s record, most recently serving as Vice President, Licensing & Soundtrack.
Betley reports to Warner Records EVP, Brand Partnerships & Sync, Claudia Butzky, and is based in the label’s LA headquarters.
Butzky joined Warner Records in 2019, and also came to the company from RCA Records.
Betley will work closely with Butzky to develop creative musical arrangements and campaigns across film, television, games, sports and related platforms, Warner said.
At RCA Records, Betley is responsible for arranging and licensing the label’s top records across all visual mediums.

She has also won spots for artists in commercial campaigns for AppleGatorade, Chase Sapphire and Ford.
Prior to joining RCA, Betley was part of the creative team at Bug Music, during which she was named Billboards30 Under 30 List.
