Kamala Harris, Barack Obama Wishing US President Joe Biden his 79th birthday

Joe Biden celebrated his 79th birthday on Saturday a day after being declared “healthy” and “fit” for the presidency following an extensive but routine general examination.
The US president, who has spent the day in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware, has no public events scheduled.
That didn’t stop some of the top Democrats from sending him their congratulations.
Vice President Kamala Harris wished him “a happy and joyful day” on Twitter.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi meanwhile tweeted, “America is grateful for your heart, your courtesy, your love of country, your love of people, your principled leadership, and your vision for with #BuildBackBetter.”

Biden received an early birthday present this week when House Democrats passed his massive social welfare bill, called Building a Better Back, making it to the Senate.
Former president Barack Obama, of whom Biden served as vice president, said: “Happy birthday to my friend and brother… Thank you for giving us all the gift of better infrastructure. “

Monitoring Biden’s health, White House physician Kevin O’Connor said the president was a “healthy, vivacious” man and “fit enough to successfully carry out the duties of the president, including who are chief executives, heads of state and commander-in-chief.”
Biden is the oldest president in US history.
