Twelve people will appear in court in Paris over the robbery of about $10 million (£7.4 million) jewelry from Kim Kardashian West in 2016.
Reality TV star got hold of a gun to her head before she was tied up and locked in the bathroom after armed robbers entered the apartment she was renting in Paris during fashion week.
Judges have ordered the case to be brought to trial after five years of investigation, a French justice official said on Friday.
12 suspects face charges in connection with the incident. No trial date has been set yet.
Several suspects have been released on bail pending trial for health reasons, including Yunice Abbas, 67, one of five men accused of carrying out the theft.
Mr. Abbas published a book about the theft last year.
Aomar Ait Khedache, the alleged mastermind, wrote a letter of apology to Kardashian from his cell.
He said he regretted his actions and realized the psychological damage he had caused.
At the time, a spokesperson for Kardashian said she suffered a severe concussion but was unharmed.
Kardashian, who split from Kayne West after seven years of marriage, has recently photographed with Saturday Night Live host Pete Davidson, sparking rumors of a romance.
