Kingdoms Of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Expansion, Fatesworn, has a December release date
The new expansion for Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, Fatesworn, will be released this month.
More specifically, Fatesworn will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 14, and it will go on sale for $19.99. Oddly enough, even though Amalur is available on Switch, Press release of THQ Nordic Today’s Fatesworn news doesn’t mention Switch when it comes to platforms for expansion.
“This year, on December 14, The Fat Free Man’s journey continues,” reads THQ Nordic’s press release. “After the Crystal War broke out and Gadlow was defeated, the people of Amalur hoped for peace to return to their land. And though peace has indeed come to Amalur, rumors of a new threat are beginning to spread, rising in the far west, the frozen land of Mithros. It is none other than Telogrus, the God of Chaos himself who has awoken and is gathering his followers to throw the whole world into chaos.”
THQ Nordic says Fatesworn adds a whole new storyline to Amalur, a new environment to explore, new missions and quests, new Chaos Realm dungeons, additional gameplay mechanics, more weapons and armor , unseen enemies, etc. It will also raise Amalur’s level cap to 50 and it features a new soundtrack by composer Grant Kirkhope.
You must own the base Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning to purchase and play Fatesworn, which launches on December 14. Perhaps more interesting than Fatesworn’s content is the fact it’s an expansion to a game that came out 10 years ago. That’s unheard of in games, especially single-player ones.
