Performer Kriti Sanon attended the trailer launch event for her upcoming film, Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, Adipurush, yesterday. Kriti chose a custom double-layered saree for the occasion, custom-made by high-end designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. On Tuesday, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s official Instagram page shared an image of Krit Sanon wore their own tailored white and gold saree, which she wore during the Adipurush trailer launch event. They shared all the intricate design details of the six yards and left netizens in awe. According to their post, Kriti’s double-layered pleated vintage Kerala cotton saree features a Khadi cube print in 24-carat gold, and her blouse is decorated with tamb fabric. According to Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, they used pure fabric for Kriti’s saree because it had to represent ‘the chastity of Sita’. They wrote, “It’s about revival, it’s about Sita, it’s about classic. The look is all about the use of pure fabrics because it speaks to the purity of Sita. Kriti has expressed it in a way perfect!”

They added, “The Kriti Sanon is a vision in a double-layered saree featuring a combination of off-white khadi saree with zardozi trim and a classic Kerala cotton saree featuring a 24-carat gold Khadi block print. The combination of two sarees with red accents at the hem and the intricate detailing of a mustard-colored Farisha resham blouse with tamba tikki and emeralds.”

Meanwhile, Kriti donned a traditional cotton saree, letting the pallu fall off her shoulders in a loose fashion on the floor. She put a matching ruched saree over the other shoulder and paired the six-foot ruffled scarf with a Farisha resham mustard blouse.

Finally, Kriti paired the beautiful outfit with ornate gold earrings, bracelets, and statement rings. A low bun adorned with white rose gajra parted in the middle, minimal makeup and a pretty bindi completes the look.
