Goals, goals, goals. Got 76 goals in 20 Big football tournament games as we head into the All-Star holiday (watch MLS All-Stars vs Liga MX All-Stars on Wednesday, LIVE on ESPN), well with a staggering 3.8 goals per game.
In a beautiful turn, when nearly every game has both teams scoring, be it from superstars or defenders with long-range cannonballs, it’s a week to be a fan. tomb. Fundamental to all of those goals is how each one impacts the playoff race.
After all, we are entering the final two months of the season and with an increase from Colorado Rapids and New England Revolution, the playoff race is getting bigger by the week. So on top of the surprise that comes with a substitute defender destroying a ball from 30 yards to win a game in injury time (hello, Andrew Gutman), also had the knowledge that it could radically change the seasons of many teams.
