Highgate Sales led all consignees for the auction, selling 15 units for $3.383 million, which equates to an average of $225,533.

Racehorses are now more concentrated in front of the trainers than in the past when racehorses were spread over days with the herd. We made a little over $6 million in total last year putting racehorses at the end of the Breeding Stock Sale and this year we made just over $11 million. That is very important. We’ve established a baseline for what could be the November Race Horse Sale, and we’ll try to grow it from here.
