Launch of Garmin Fenix 7, Fenix 7S, Fenix 7X Smartwatches with Real-Time Stamina Engine
The Garmin Fenix 7 series GPS smartwatch has been launched in the US, featuring a touchscreen, color display, and silicone strap. Like previous Fenix models, the new series includes solar-powered and smartwatch models that come in three models – Garmin Fenix 7, Garmin Fenix 7S, and Garmin Fenix 7X high-class. The high-end model in the line – the Fenix 7X – is said to have up to five weeks of battery life in smartwatch mode and up to five days in GPS mode. These wearables also have 10ATM waterproof certification. The new range of smartwatches is designed to allow users to track activities including mountain biking, skiing, kayaking, skiing, sailing, etc. Garmin Fenix 7 series also features Health and wellness monitoring features include Realm-Time Stamina, wrist-based heart rate, respiration, sleep monitoring, and stress monitoring.

Garmin Fenix 7, Garmin Fenix 7S, Garmin Fenix 7X to be available models in a new lineup of smartwatches with options for Standard Solar (non-solar), Solar, and Sapphire Editions. Retail prices of the Garmin Fenix 7 and Garmin Fenix 7S start at $699.99 (about Rs. 52,100) and go up to $899.99 (about Rs. 67,000). Prices for the Garmin Fenix 7X models start from $899.99 (about Rs 67,000) to $999.99 (about Rs 74,500).
Garmin Fenix 7 series specifications and features
The Garmin Fenix 7, Garmin Fenix 7S, and Garmin Fenix 7X smartwatches come in 42mm, 47mm, and 51mm case sizes and a color display (280 x 280 pixels). The Garmin Fenix 7 has a 1.3-inch screen, while the Garmin Fenix 7S has a 1.2-inch screen. The Garmin Fenix 7X model comes with a 1.4-inch display.
The new flagship smartwatches are built from materials like titanium and sapphire, with silicone straps. The Garmin Fenix 7 series smartwatch has a 5-button interface along with a touch screen. Wearable devices also have multi-LED flashlights.
The new Garmin smartwatch is equipped with 32GB of internal memory. As mentioned, the solar-powered Garmin Fenix 7X models are said to offer up to 5 weeks of battery life in smartwatch mode and up to 5 days in GPS mode. The new Garmin Fenix 7 series smartwatches offer Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and ANT+ connectivity.
All Garmin Fenix 7 series smartwatches feature health and fitness modes including Pulse Ox blood oxygen saturation, wrist-based heart rate, respiration and stress monitoring. There’s also a Body Battery feature, which tells users about their body’s energy levels.
In addition to golf courses and surf and snow features, Garmin has added a host of new features in the Garmin Fenix 7 series. Garmin has introduced a Real-Time Stamina tool in a new set of wearables that allows athletes to track and monitor exercise levels during activities.
Visual Race Predictor is another new tool that evaluates training progress based on running history and overall fitness.
Recovery Time Advisor is a new health-related feature offered by Garmin in the new Garmin Fenix 7 series smartwatches. It analyzes training intensity and stress, daily activity, and sleep to calculate the amount of rest needed to recover before another session begins. Daily workout recommendations provide training recommendations based on training volume and current fitness level.
Garmin Fenix series 7 supports streaming from Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer. Users can find new apps through the IQ Store On Device connection and install them over Wi-Fi directly from the watch.
