The music world has lost a beloved artist.
legendary singer Tina Turner passed away at the age of 83, her group confirmed in a statement on May 24.
“We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Tina Turner,” a statement posted on her social media pages read. “With her music and boundless passion for life, she has enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow. Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who left us all of her greatest work: her music. All our sincere compassion goes out to meet her family. Tina, we will miss you so much.”
Tina’s death came just a few months later her departure and Ike Turnerthe son of Ronnie. “Ronnie, you left this world too soon,” she wrote in a December 9 article. Instagram parcel. “In sadness, I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son.”
