Lifetime In Racing Awards nominations extended
Nominated for Racing Welfare Foundation Lifetime in Racing Awards currently open. In recognition of those who have dedicated their lives to working in racing, candidates are welcome from any sector of the UK racing industry. There will be four regional winners selected by a jury and recognized with the title presentation and VIP race day experience in the fall. The nomination process follows the week-long Employee Racing Week, which runs from June 25 to July 1. Two charity races Racing Staff Week in Doncaster and Newton Abbot won won by Michael Vokins aboard the Amsby (GB) (Sir Percy {GB} ), for the stables Harry Eustace and Imogen Levick respectively riding Uncle Dick (GB) (Toronado {Ire}) for Eve Johnson Houton.
Racing welfare chief executive officer Dawn Goodfellow said, “It is heartening to see so many organizations across the industry celebrate Racing Employees Week. Congratulations to all the racers in the charity race for a special achievement and outstanding fundraising efforts. The Lifetime in Racing Awards provide the perfect opportunity for the industry to continue to thank and appreciate the most dedicated members of our workforce, and we encourage anyone in the industry to bring forward the best. that they feel most deserving of this recognition. “
