Man United set to face Wrexham on pre-season tour in the US
Manchester United set to face Wrexham in the United States this summer, sources told ESPN.
Wrexham, owned by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, will face Erik ten Hag’s team in San Diego in July.

The match will be part of United’s pre-season tour of the US, potentially including Las Vegas.
Wrexham, meanwhile, is also in talks over a summer friendly against United’s Premier League rivals Chelsea.
A statement released by Wrexham, the second-placed team in the National League, read: “The club can confirm that our previously announced plans to tour the USA during the pre-season period. is in the advanced stage, but not yet completed.
“Full details on the games the club will play and where, will be released on the Club’s communication channels as they are confirmed.
“We advise fans not to arrange to watch matches based on speculation, to avoid disappointment.”
United have not toured the United States since 2018 when Jose Mourinho was coach. The last time they faced Wrexham was in an FA Cup game in 1995, which ended in a 5-2 win for United at Old Trafford.
