Maryland Education Center to Open Dec. 16
The opening of the Maryland Horse Library and Education Center will be held at noon on December 16, the Maryland Horse Breeders Association (MHBA) and the Maryland Horse Foundation (MHF) announced Monday. Ribbon cutting ceremony will take place, followed by MHBA Christmas opening ceremony until 4pm
Located at 321 Main Street in the heart of historic Reisterstown, the Maryland Equine Library and Education Center will serve as a hub for learning and collaboration, while honoring the long history of horses in Maryland. The spacious, airy space includes a rich reference library, meeting space and gallery.
“Our plan is for MHLEC to serve as a resource for communities and people interested in learning more about horses – whether they are researching a book or looking for a place to learn or love. volunteer,” said Cricket Goodall, chief executive officer of MHLEC. Maryland Horse Breeders Association.
