Maserati MC20 and MC20 Cielo 2023 price and specifications

There is a higher base price and more safety equipment available for 2023 Maserati MC20but the Italian brand says it’s sold out.

Pricing for 2023 Maserati MC20 coupe has raised $29,000 over the 2022 model and now starts at $467,000 before expenses and options on the road.

This higher asking price currently makes it only about $17,000 cheaper than Ferrari F8 Tributo and about $31,000 cheaper than Lamborghini Huracan EVO.

As previously detailed, Maserati has revealed a convertible version of the MC20 called MC20 Cielo priced from $528,000 before on-road expenses.

Despite the price increase for the MC20 coupe, there are still new standard features for the 2023 model year.

These new standard features include a carbon fiber engine cover, an Alcantara steering wheel with carbon fiber inserts and a new blue start button, as well as a touch-sensitive 1.6-inch circular drive mode selector.

There are also new 20-inch carbon fiber wheels and 20-inch ‘MMXX’ gloss black diamond-cut alloy wheels available as options.

Maserati has expanded the suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) safety systems, although it is still only available as an optional extra.

New optional safety features include automatic emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian and cyclist detection, surround view camera, rear cross-traffic alert, rearview mirror automatically blur and recognize traffic signs.

Parking sensors, rear view camera and blind spot monitoring were previously added as options for the 2022 model year.

A new exterior paint color, Grigio Incognitio, has been introduced for the MC20 range, as well as an Acquamarina paint color that is optional on the MC20 Cielo as part of the range. Customization program ‘Maserati Fuoriserie’.

Another addition to the 2023 model year is a three-year “comprehensive maintenance program”. This will include all requests to service the log.

Production of the Maserati MC20 coupe 2023 will begin in November 2022 and production of the Maserati MC20 Cielo spyder 2023 will begin in January 2023.

Engine

Both Maserati MC20 and MC20 Cielo 2023 are equipped with engines Nettuno 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6 . engine manufacturing 470kW power and 730Nm of torque.

It is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to the rear wheels only.

The claimed combined cycle fuel economy for the 2023 Maserati MC20 coupe is 11.6L / 100km.

Maserati has not yet detailed official fuel economy figures for the MC20 Cielo spyder.

The MC20 has a 60L fuel tank and requires premium unleaded gasoline.

Size

Maserati MC20 and MC20 Cielo 2023 both measure at 4669mm Long, 2178mm wide and 1224mm tall, with a 2700mm The standard long.

Both models are capable of rear boot is 100L and the front starting power is 50L. The combined starting power is 150L.

The Italian automaker claims that, despite the slight increase in weight, the MC20 Cielo still “maintains the dynamic performance and driving feel of the coupe version”.

Both models are built on bodywork made of carbon fiber and composite materials, but the MC20 Cielo has an electrically retractable glass roof.

This glass roof can open and close in 12 seconds and has an electrochromic function that allows it to go from transparent to opaque with the push of a button. The BMW iX has the same function as the fixed panoramic glass sunroof.

Service and Warranty

Maserati has confirmed all 2023 MC20 and MC20 Cielo models will have one “Comprehensive maintenance program” for three years. This will include all requests to service the log.

The company covers its models with a three-year, unlimited-kilometer warranty.

Safety

Neither the Maserati MC20 nor the MC20 Cielo have been crash tested by ANCAP or Euro NCAP.

Compared to the 2022 model, the Maserati MC20 2023 and partner MC20 Cielo have a larger package of advanced driver assistance systems available as an additional option. These include the following:

Other options available include a carbon fiber exterior and interior package, an upgraded audio system, an electronic limited-slip differential and a suspension lift system, among others.

An additional special option for the MC20 Cielo spyder is the matte titanium Trident decal on the polycarbonate engine compartment cover.
