Artist Partnership Group (APG) announced a series of new promotions and recruitments.
Brett Copell has been promoted to SVP for Legal & Business Affairs at Artist Partner Group after six years of service at a record label and music publishing company.
Copell worked with APG founder and CEO Mike Caren and played a key role in relaunching APG as a fully independent label, the company said in a statement. Wednesday (October 26).
Before joining APG, Copell spent more than three years in Atlantic Profile as the Director of Sales and Legal, according to LinkedIn Page.
In his new role, Copell will continue to serve as principal attorney for both APG and its publishing arm, Artist Publishing Group, and oversee the legal and administrative departments at the companies.
He will also focus on new business opportunities for the company as a whole.
Also, APG ahs has promoted to chief marketing officer Alexis Warner as Marketing Manager. The following promotions Warnertheir efforts in promoting digital marketing campaigns for emerging artists such as Anti Da Menace, Cootie and Solider Kidd, among others.

Alexis has focused on promoting the company’s talented artist roster and building a new legacy for the Artist Partnerships Group,” the company said.
Warner joins APG in 2020 after nearly two years of service on the SinceThe80s record label.
APG has also made two new employees: Sebastien Christie as Sr. Managing Director of A&R and Jesse Wylde as Director, Artist & Business Development.
Christie joined APG from his own consulting firm called Space Camp where he handles A&R, Administration, Publishing and Sync for clients like Cinematic Music Group, Create and Opposition / BBTV. At APG, Christie will prepare releases including sample removal, agreement with producer.
Wylde, meanwhile, will join APG as Sr. Director, Artist & Business Development after working at startup Web3 Rally.io where he oversees and develops the tokenized community of artists. Wylde also spent two years as a marketing director at AWALa London-based music distribution company owned by Sony Music Entertainmentand more than three years at Warner Bros. Profile where he worked as an Artist Development / Tour Marketing manager for two years.
“Jesse brings her expertise in new media, live entertainment and brands to APG to develop their artists and musicians in all facets of their careers, with a focus on promotion and touring for business strategy and larger partnerships,” said APG.
Last month, Los Angeles-based manager Luke Mitzman (100 Management) and music entrepreneur Mike Caren (Artist Partner and Artist Publishing Team) participated in a partnership focuses on music producers and entrepreneurs.
