The train ride comes with mesmerizing views, endless conversations with travelers and of course loads of food! There’s something about railroad food – from railroad-style chicken curry to veggie cutlets and hot water bottles, these delicious treats take us back to memories of our childhood days. So is Nagaland Minister Temjen Imna Along. Known for his emotional posts on social networks, the Minister recently shared a perspective on his train journey that made netizens nostalgic.
Minister Imna Along has just traveled from Guwahati to Dimapur on the Rajdhani Express. During the journey, he shared a Twitter post about the meal served on board. In the picture we can see chapatis, rice, dal, curry, dahi and omelette. “Life is a journey, enjoy the journey; Food is life, never skip a meal!” he added, “Grateful for the wonderfully served dinner at #RajdhaniExpress while arriving in Dimapur from Guwahati.” Take a look at the tweet:

Since being shared, the post has garnered thousands of likes, retweets and comments. Indian Railways took to one of its official Twitter operators RailwaySeva to respond to this heartwarming post. “Sir, thank you for taking your precious time to write to us. However, your feedback will motivate our team to work harder. – IRCTC Official,” the reader commented.
Another comment read: “Yes, you are right, sir. I was on the same train from New Delhi to Dimapur. Yes, the food was amazing on this 32 hour journey. I went. travel to Nagaland for 7 days. It was a wonderful and unique experience. All i can say is that Nagaland is amazing. (sic)”
One user wrote: “Indian Railways is improving day by day. And in the coming days, Indian Railways will be ranked among the world’s best trains.”
However, some Twitter users criticized the food served on board. “Regularly travel in Rajdhani Grade 2 and 3 from Delhi to Howrah and back. Once they made the whole family sick of their food”, one commenter. “I also travel by Rajdhani.
