MultiVersus Reveals New Characters, Including LeBron James and Rick Sanchez
MultiVersus, the Smash Bros-like crossover fighter. of Warner Bros., has revealed new characters Rick Sanchez, Morty Smith and LeBron James.
Published in one San Diego Comic-Con , the console revealed these characters along with a closer look at how LeBron drives in the game. While it may seem daunting to place LeBron James, a real-life person and professional basketball player in the NBA, this won’t be the first time we’ve seen a “fictional” version of him, originally launched in 2021 Space Jam: New Legacy.
The MultiVersus panel also confirmed that Morty Smith will join the roster on August 9, while Rick Sanchez will be able to compete at a later date.
LeBron James joins Rick and Morty on a roster that includes countless characters from various properties owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, such as Batman, Steven Universeand Recently announced Iron Giant. You can see it all Characters MultiVersus here.
MultiVersus is a platform fighter in Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros circuit, and brings together characters from across Warner Bros. ‘many franchises. Even before today’s announcement, it was an unexpected mix, featuring Batman, Arya Stark, Shaggy from Scooby-Doo and Steven Universe among others.
During a hands-on in May, we said free fighter left us “a particular impression. Gameplay wise, it’s not as tight as any other Smash Brothers game, but it’s a bit of a stretch.” to be fair, it also aims to provide a very different kind of experience than Smash Brothers or any other platform fighter for that matter.”
One Open beta started this weekand will run until July 26.
