NBA 2K23 on PC is still the previous generation version
In recent years, players have requested next-gen upgrades from the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of NBA 2K to be added to PC as well.
However, despite these requests, it seems NBA 2K23The PC version of the game will still be based on the previous generation console version.
According to an answer in Frequently asked questions section of the 2K Games website, the PC and Nintendo Switch versions of the next NBA 2K game will not receive the graphical and technical upgrades that the next-gen console versions of the game will have.
“This is something the team is very passionate about and will continue to investigate what might happen for the franchise in the future,” the response read. “For now, the focus is on securing NBA 2K23 has been optimized for new consoles (PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S), while ensuring a fresh and innovative experience for players on other platforms. “
This will be a disappointment for PC fans of the NBA 2K series, as developers continue to prioritize the console experience.
NBA 2K is an old basketball sim. While little is known about the upcoming addition to the 2K series, 2K Games recently announced that Michael Jordan will be on the cover of the proper name Michael Jordan version and limited edition Championship Edition.
Michael Jordan’s iconic Challenges is also set to return to the game, releasing on September 9. Devin Booker is the cover star on the standard edition.
