New Orleans Saints Again Without RB Alvin Kamara vs Buffalo Bills
METAIRIE, La. – Run backwards Alvin Kamara was ruled out for the third week in a row with his knee injury because New Orleans Saints prepare to organize Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving night.
Correct handling Ryan Ramczyk (knee) and finish defense Marcus Davenport (shoulder) and Tanoh Kpassagnon (ankle) was also ruled out of Thursday’s game. Run back Mark Ingram II (knee) and left ball Terron Armstead (knee/shoulder) listed as problematic after a limited workout on Wednesday.
If Ingram was restrained or restricted, the Saints would obviously have no hand in retreating. Second year professional Tony Jones Jr., RB / WR Ty Montgomery and backup midfielder Taysom Hill will probably be among those to fill the void.
Kamara is not expected to be sidelined long-term, and he is not included on the bench injured after he began to hurt his knee for the first time in the Saints’ Week 9 loss last week. Atlanta Falcons. The Saints will play another game on Thursday night at home against Dallas Cowboys in Week 13 before there are three additional days between games in Week 14.
Kamara clearly missed out on a depleted Saints attack that had been missing players in the game for a whole season. He leads the team with 840 yards from the script, 7 touchdowns and 32 tackles this season.
The Saints (5-5) have battled injuries throughout the season – but especially in the past month (including midfield James WinstonEnd of season ACL receiver and tearer Michael Thomas‘seasonal defeat with an ankle injury). The Saints hit a three-game losing streak for the first time since 2016.
