NFL Week 5 Injury Report
Week 5 of the NFL season is upon us, and injuries have affected the depth standings of several teams.
The Atlanta Falcons run away again Cordarelle Patterson injury reserve after he underwent a knee procedure on Monday. Patterson has a minimum of four weeks off, but head coach Arthur Smith said the Falcons look forward to him returning.”sooner rather than later. “
Dallas Cowboys midfielder Dak Prescott still recovering from a thumb injury, but owner and general manager Jerry Jones did not exclude him for Sunday’s competition with the defending champion Los Angeles Rams. If Prescott can’t go, Cooper Rushwho took a 3-0 lead at the start of this season, will continue in central position.
New Orleans Saints run again Alvin Kamara expect to fight Seattle Seahawks football team this week. On Wednesday, he said that he “Feeling great, healthy, ready to roll“after missing last week due to a rib injury. However, both midfielders James Winston (return) and the receiver Michael Thomas (toe) missed practice this week.

Wound: Hamstring
Pitts missed every practice session this week and was to exclude, to expel for the game against Tampa Bay. Bateman, the Ravens’ No. 1 wideband record player, will be on the field for Sunday’s game against the Bengals. He injured his leg in the third inning last Sunday and did not play in the fourth. Devin Duvernay become Lamar Jacksonis the primary target outside. Duvernay only gets an average of 43 yards per game but ranks third in the NFL with three touchdowns.

Wound: Ribs
Safe start Poyer will miss his second game of the season after co-workers safety Micah Hyde was out for the year with a neck injury in Week 2.
Poyer, AFC Defensive Player of the Week, is dealing with a rib injury after two second interceptions in his fourth two innings vs. Baltimore Raven last week. Safety backup Jaquan Johnson is expected to start in his place.
Wound: Legs and hamstrings
Knox will miss the first game of the year after dealing with multiple injuries earlier in the season. He hasn’t been in practice all week and head coach Sean McDermott said the team will “hopefully get [Knox] come back next week here. “After the Bills host Pittsburgh in Week 5, they’re going to Chief of Kansas City before the group’s goodbye week.

Wound: Fish’s eyes
Higgins is limited to practice during the week but is trending towards playing on Sundays. Bengals coach Zac Taylor told reporters Friday he “feels positive” about Higgins and TE Hayden Hurst (groin) can fight the Crow. Taylor said the practice limit was to make sure Higgins and Hurst could feel as comfortable as possible on Sunday.

Wound: Shoulders, biceps
After sitting out last weekend’s game in Atlanta following a car crash, Garrett will be back on sunday against the Charger. Garrett has been training all week, and despite restrictions, he was excluded from the injury report on Friday. DE teammates Jadeveon Clowney (ankle), meanwhile, finally returned to training on Friday after benching the past two games. Clowney is listed as problematic for Sunday.

Wound: Chest
Peters was injured Thursday in practice and may need several weeks to return to the field. The injury did not affect the Cowboys at the starting point with Connor McGovern continue on the left, but it affects their depth. Peters has played several series in the past two games as the Cowboys ramped up his work after he signed a contract before the season opened. Last week was like a second pre-season game for Peters in terms of plays. With McGovern there full-time, the Rams can use Aaron Donald stay with him all the time instead of moving him to different spots. As of 2017, Donald’s win rate as a high-speed passer is 18.9% over the Cowboys and has only had one dismissal in four games.

Wound: Shoulders and ankles
For the second week in a row, Leos will play without Swift, their most active player. Detroit will rely on Jamaal Williams as a return to prominence until Swift is healthy enough to return, possibly after the goodbye week.
Wound: Fish’s eyes
St. Brown had a record start to the season before suffering an ankle injury in Week 3 in Minnesota then missing the Week 4 game against Seattle. He missed Wednesday and Thursday training sessions before returning for Friday training in limited numbers. He is listed as problematic to play in New England on Sunday.

Wound: Quad
Fatukasi is out this week with quadriplegia. He was a key part of the team’s defence, leading the NFL for the first three weeks at 55 yards per game. However, the Jaguars struggled in their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last week, giving up 210 yards and four touchdowns. Texas Rookie Runs Back Dameon Pierce is about to play the first 100 yards of his career and is 10th in the NFL for high dash with 313 yards.

Wound: Hamstring
The hamstring injury Allen suffered in Week 1 is continuing to drag on and he won’t play Sunday against the Browns. This is the fourth game in a row Allen will miss, and the Charger could be especially thin on the receiver with the receiver Joshua Palmer problem because of an ankle problem.

Wound: Concussion
With Perryman back on the field after missing two games plus an ankle injury in the opening game, the Raiders defense looked noticeably quicker and more organized last week. Then, Pro Bowler suffered a concussion after five shots, including two losses, in just 11 seconds. With an extra day to prepare for Monday night’s game in Kansas City, the Raiders have signed on Blake Martinez, who has experience in the system of defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, into the practice team. With Perryman out, Divine Deablo was wearing a green dot contact helmet.

Wound: Knee
After going missing for the past two weeks, Meyers expressed confidence that a return act is imminent. Meyers believes he closed last week, and if he gets the green light on Sunday against the Lions it will be an impetus for a potentially QB-free offense Mac Jones and TE Jonnu Smithboth are suspected with ankle injuries.

Andy Dalton will begin the second week in a row when the Saints strive to achieve James Winston is healthy.
Wound: Ribs
Kamara will return to the Saints squad after he missed last week with a rib injury.
Wound: Toes
Thomas will miss the second game in a row because of a toe injury. The only other question is the wide receiver Jarvis Landry, who didn’t practice on Friday. But coach Dennis Allen said he was pleased with Landry’s performance despite his “problematic” condition.

Brown is expected to make his Jets debut after spending his first four games as an injured substitute, although he still has to be activated from IR by 4pm on Saturday. RG Alijah Vera-Tuckerwho made an emergency start last week on the left, could start on the right as the Jets try to put their best five in line on the field.

Wound: Shoulder
Midfielder Jalen Hurts‘the blind team could be more vulnerable than their usual Sunday against Arizona, with Mailata unlikely to be a good fit. The team’s number 2 left ball, Andre Dillardstill finding his way back from forearm surgery, which means tasks could fall in Jack Driscollwho hasn’t started the game at that position since freshman year in 2016.

Wound: Shoulder
Walker was listed as problematic for Sunday in New Orleans after appearing on limited Thursday injury reports. Rookie selection in the second round was behind Seattle’s RB2 Rashaad Penny. His status is even more meaningful with the Seahawks taking down a running one Travis Homer, people on IR. If Walker were absent, Seattle’s backyard would fall to Penny and DeeJay DallasAsk for a practice group call.

Wound: Hips
Dupree again aggravated a hip wound against the Colts. Injury caused Dupree to miss a game two weeks ago and he hasn’t trained this week. No Dupree would take away Tennessee’s depth in the outer midfield, and neither would the team Ola Adeniyi against the Commanders. The Titans used Joe Jones was outside the linebacker last week but he was also eliminated. Newbie Mario Edwards has found some success as a downline on the outside parallel to Deniso Autrywho have switched to defensive handling.

Wound: knee leg
Robinson practice for the first time since being shot twice in the right leg on Aug. 28. Coach Ron Rivera says Robinson has had a good week of training and if he’s feeling comfortable on Saturday after three days of work, it’s very likely. Maybe he’ll play on Sunday. He can have a limited amount of quicks.
Wound: Hamstring
Dotson was ruled out of Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury during the Week 4 loss at Dallas. It’s no surprise that Rivera says he could miss a week or two, but it’s a hit.
Wound: Calf
Thomas did not train on Friday because of a previously undisclosed calf problem. He will be participating on Saturday and testing his feet in the Sunday Pregame warmups. Regardless, rookie ends tight Cole Turner will be activated for the first time this season. If Thomas plays, Washington will go with four tight ends with receiver Jahan Dotson.
