OnePlus 10R Introduced With MediaTek Density 9000 SoC, Could Launch in Q2 2022
The OnePlus 10R is tipped to launch in China and India in Q2 2022, using a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC chip under the hood. The smartphone is set to follow the company’s OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone that was launched in China and is expected to arrive in global markets in March. is also tipped to debut on the upcoming Oppo Find X5 smartphone. Meanwhile, a new render of the OnePlus TV Y1S has been spotted ahead of the TV’s launch in India.
According to a report of Android Central, OnePlus 10R will have MediaTek 9000 SoC Density paired with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. OnePlus’ The next smartphone is expected to launch in Q2 2022, according to the report. OnePlus 10R will have an AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone is said to be limited to the Asian markets just like other OnePlus R-series smartphones like OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 9RT.
The OnePlus 10 will not have a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, according to the report, as the smartphone will also be launched in North America. SoC MediaTek Dimensity 9000 has the same core configuration as the latest version Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoCand comes with support for the Sub-6’s 5G bands, but doesn’t support mmWave 5G connectivity like its Snapdragon counterpart. The smartphone is tipped to launch in China and India and could arrive at the end of Q2 2022.
Meanwhile, renders of the upcoming OnePlus TV have surfaced online, ahead of the TV’s launch in India. OnePlus TV Y1S, that is expected to launch in India soon, has been spotted on the OnePlus Connect app by elves Ishan Agarwal, according to a report by MySmartPrice. The rendered image shows the TV with a sporty small bezel, with the OnePlus logo in the center of the bottom bezel. The TVs are expected to come in 32-inch and 43-inch screen sizes and could cost around Rs. 25,000. OnePlus has yet to confirm the existence of the rumored OnePlus TV Y1S, including specs and availability.
