The launch of OnePlus 9RT (or OnePlus RT) and OnePlus Buds Z2 in India seems imminent. Support pages for OnePlus’ truly wireless stereo (TWS) smartphones and headphones in India have been spotted on the company. The OnePlus 9RT is listed in the ‘Phone’ category while the OnePlus Buds Z2 is listed in the ‘Accessories’ category. The OnePlus Buds Z2 TWS earphones launched in China in October alongside the OnePlus 9RT. However, the phone is expected to launch in India as OnePlus RT.
Tipster Mukul Sharma in cooperation with 91Mobiles, shared that OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 was discovered on OnePlus’ Indian website. They have been detected with their respective support pages but only the support page for TWS headsets can watched at this time. It doesn’t reveal much information about the headset, and only has a message saying “This page is coming soon”.
However, the publication did share a screenshot of the upcoming smartphone’s support page. Both devices are speak arrive debut in India on December 16.
OnePlus RT specs (tentative)
As mentioned earlier, OnePlus RT supposedly a rebranded version of the OnePlus 9RT that was launched in China in October. If the former is indeed like the latter, it will likely be ColorOS based Android 11. It is also expected to feature a 6.62-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It will be powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM.
The OnePlus RT may have three rear cameras with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. At the front, it can be equipped with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor. It will likely come with a 4,500mAh battery with 65W WarpCharge fast charging support.
OnePlus Buds Z2 . Specifications
OnePlus’ TWS earphones have 11mm dynamic drivers and have Bluetooth v5.2 for connectivity. They have a claimed latency of 94 milliseconds and feature active noise cancellation (ANC) to reduce noise by up to 40dB. They are IP55 rated for dust and water resistance. The OnePlus Buds Z2 is also said to offer up to 38 hours of battery life on a single charge from the 40mAh battery in each earphone and the 520mAh battery in the charging case.
